    "content": "requires being condemned in the context of a whistle blower and the fight against corruption in the country. Hon. Speaker, it is on account of this concern that I seek your indulgence to order an inquiry by the Departmental Committee on Education and Research on the following: (i) Inquire into the status of investigations on corruption in the Maasai Mara University and a probe to establish the role of the current university council in cover-up and protection of former university officials implicated in corruption, especially those implicated in the famous “Mara heist” matter; (ii) inquire into the circumstances that led to the appointment of the Acting Vice-Chancellor Prof. Onyango Kiche Magak and Members of the Council of Maasai Mara University and whether they met the necessary qualifications; (iii) inquire into the circumstances that led to the summary dismissal of Mr. Spencer Sankale Ololchike and why he was not accorded a fair administrative action and consider his unconditional reinstatement; and, (iv) inquire into the measures in place to protect all whistle blowers on matters corruption and embezzlement of public funds as provided by law and, in particularly, the case of Mr. Sankale Ololchike.
