    "content": " Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, I also want to support this amendment. The Committee has, indeed, agreed with many of us who are supporting Wanjiku. We do not need to tax basic items like bread, maize and wheat flour. I also want to commend the Committee for also considering the sugar industry, tax on transportation of sugarcane from the farms to the milling factory. That is commendable. Hon. (Ms.) Gladys Wanga, thank you for your good leadership of that Committee."
