Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be amended in Clause 33 by inserting the following new subsection immediately after the proposed new subsection (4B) − (4C.) Without prejudice to the provisions of this section, once the Commissioner notifies of a decision under subsection (3) and the Commissioner is satisfied that there is an overpayment of tax, the overpaid tax shall be deemed to have been offset against the taxpayer’s future tax liabilities The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
