    "content": "If that is not done, we are not going to receive all the funds. So, as a Committee, we have endeavoured to ensure that all the money that is received is transmitted to the constituencies. Unfortunately, we understand the situation in the country is not promising due to the reasons we all understand like the COVID-19 Pandemic among others. Last week, the National Treasury did not release the weekly disbursement. We are aware of the challenges we have even in Parliament. He has, however, assured us that next week, he is going to release about Kshs4 billion from the outstanding Kshs9 billion. The remaining will be disbursed before the closure of the financial year. He even undertook to the House that by 30th June, he will have cleared Kshs13.78 billion. We have only received Kshs4 billion. If he releases Kshs4 billion by Monday next week, we will be left with Kshs5 billion, which will not have been released. We are requesting that if conditions allow, the money should be released before the closure of the financial year."
