    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I want to comment on the first Petition that you read on behalf of the petitioners. I totally agree with what the petitioners have requested. We have had quite a number of questions by Members of Parliament in the Committee. That Petition will address, effectively, what ills the sector. As much as we have the open tender system (OTS) for petroleum, the Petition will address that too. Rightly, as you have indicated, Hon. Speaker, they are the right people to address it. Most of the time when we try to address it, we find that the issues are tax matters that the Departmental Committee on Energy cannot address. When it is at the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning, things will be sorted out."
