Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, the Bill be amended in Clause 76 by inserting the following new subsections immediately after Subsection (2)- (2A) The Auditor General shall audit the accounts of a project company, where there is counterpart funding for a project including public funds. (2B) Where all the monies for a project are provided by a private party, the accounts of the project company shall be audited annually by a reputable audit firm, appointed in consultation with the National Treasury."
