"content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. My intervention is just in relation to the issue of Bills. I wanted to bring to the attention of the House that at times, it may not necessarily be the fault of the Committee. I thank you because through your intervention, the Assisted Reproductive Technology Bill that I sponsored is now in Second Reading, but two of the Bills that I have sponsored, other than the Child Justice, which is in the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs, the Committee keeps saying they will invite me to appear before them and they do not do that, I have a Reproductive Health Care Bill that seems to be nowhere. Nobody can trace it. I think our Legal Department must also up their game and help us in tracking the Bills. Members do a lot of good work here and it is a tragedy that we are going to next year and many of the Bills that have been passed by the Budget and Appropriations Committee just fizzle out at the end of its term. At times, Members complain about this Committee when it is not their problem. So, we can find a different tracking system to help us trace exactly where Bills are. Sometimes it may be the department or other processes once it leaves the department. The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
