    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, the purpose of this amendment was to anchor the Constituencies Development Fund (CDF) in the constitution since it is a Fund that has inspired so much hope in Kenyans. However, reading the mood of the House, it is only through a miracle that we could pass this amendment – miracles are known to happen at night, but we have not gotten there. So, in that light, I wish to withdraw this amendment."
