"content": "today, she deserves that. The Nobel Laureate, as we all know, suffered a lot. It was not for herself or her family, but for the benefit of all the Kenyans. I remember when she fought for the preservation of Uhuru Park and Karura Forest. She underwent a lot, and at that time she was treated like a villager. All the people who suffered in the Nyayo Detention Centers should be recognised because, were it not for them, we would not be having the freedom that we have today. In fact, when one talks about Hon. Raila, one should know that he is one of the icons who fought for the freedom of the citizens of this country."
