I rise to ask Question No. 231/2021, directed to the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works: (i) What measures are in place to prevent accidents occurring along the Solai-Subukia Road (D366) in Subukia Constituency noting that majority of them are due to sharp bends and lack of road infrastructure such as signage and markings, speed bumps, pedestrian crossings, among others? (ii) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain why the completion of the construction of the said road has delayed, including erecting of speed bumps, road marking, installation of culverts, traffic and road signs?"
