It is a deletion of Clause 13 and if I may refer to the original Bill, Clause 13 says: “There shall be a medical director for the Service who shall be appointed by the Board through an open, transparent and competitive recruitment process and whose terms and conditions of employment shall be determined by the Board.”This is now what the Chair is proposing to delete. I do not know whether the Chair is convinced by that bit. Before that, let me hear the Leader of the Majority Party."
