    "content": "Madam Deputy Speaker, before I read this Statement I wish to thank the Committee on Labour. I know there were a lot of praises pouring from Senators to the Committee of Labour and the chairperson; I agree with them. There is also my Statement which I brought to the Committee. I would request, if it is allowed, Sen. Sakaja the matter of Ewaso Nyiro is a very sensitive matter. There are people who have already been laid off, who have worked for that institution for more than 10 years. I would pray, if the Committee can make one visit to that institution and solve the problem that members of staff are facing. I actually requested this of the Committee when I appeared before them."
