I want to record my appreciation to the Chair and Committee members of this very important Committee which I had the privilege of chairing in the 10th Parliament. I also want to appreciate that this is one of the things that we intended to. I am glad to see Hon. Charles Kilonzo, who was and remains an able member of this Committee. In any civilised country, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is the interface between it and the world. For the first time since the promulgation of the Constitution, we have a written foreign policy. Among other pillars, the emphasis of the policy is economic diplomacy."
