    "content": " Thank you very much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I also rise to support this Bill. This Bill can be improved to be much better than what we have. First of all, I think the Kenya has not performed very well in terms of ensuring that our international interests are safeguarded. I would like to highlight a few shortcomings that I feel have not gone well in recent history. One case in point is the negotiation between Kenya and Uganda on the crude oil pipeline. The fact that we are mixing career diplomats with people who have no idea of what a diplomat is, is actually doing a big disservice to this country. Therefore, the need to have a balanced approach to ensure that we have career diplomats doing the job that they have been trained on is important for this country."
