    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I rise to make a Statement. This Statement relates to the Executive Committee meeting for the Common Wealth Parliamentary Association (CPA), Africa Region. This Statement is targeted at informing the House on the upcoming meeting of the Executive Committee meeting of the Commonwealth Parliamentary Association, Africa Region, scheduled to take place from 12th to 18th July 2021 at the Nairobi Serena Hotel. The five-day long event is hosted by the CPA, Kenya Branch, and will draw participants from various CPA Member States across the continent. The apex body of the Executive Committee manages the affairs of the CPA, Africa Region. As Members might be aware, the Speaker of this House is the Chairperson of that Committee. The Membership of the CPA is composed of Speakers, Members of Parliament and the secretariat drawn from Member States, which comprises of 18 national parliaments and subnational legislations, whose Governments are members of the Commonwealth."
