    "content": "As you may be aware, the National Assembly Committee on Powers and Privileges is constituted under Section 15 of the Parliamentary Powers and Privileges Act of 2017. In establishing the Committee, the Act designates the Speaker as the Chairperson, but does not provide for the position of a vice-chairperson to deputise the Speaker or the manner of causing a Member to take charge of the affairs of the Committee in the absence of the Speaker, as is the case for other select committees of this House."
