Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 3 of the Bill be amended — (a) in the proposed new section 29(1) by — (ii) deleting the proposed new subsection (2) and substituting therefor the following new subsections — (2) A person may apply to the court for declaration as a dependant for purposes of this Act if the person— (a) cohabited with the deceased for a period of at least seven years prior to the deceased’s death; The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
