It will necessarily qualify as bigamy but these stepmothers of mine live with my mum in the same compound. Can we wake up because of this law of succession to say they are disentitled completely? This is affecting even Members here. So, we agreed that if cohabitation, what we call marriage by reputation under the Evidence Act, can be established where there is evidence of maintenance and these people were reputed by the families and not friends, that they can cope as married people, then they should have some leeway.
