    "content": "I sincerely thank Sen. Kwamboka for coming up with this single section amendment which means a lot not just to our children, but to the education sector in this country. I will say very few things about this proposed amendment as I fully support it. Madam Temporary Speaker, respect for our children must begin with doing something about what matters most to them. There is nothing that matters to a child more than their nutrition. Away from just talking about it and saying that we care, something needs to be done to demonstrate that duty of care. I thank Sen. Kwamboka because she is giving all of us an opportunity to demonstrate duty of care to our children by providing them with milk. These are our children and our future. It behooves us as leaders to take care of them as we prepare them to be responsible as citizens. There are two things that happen in our education sector that I have talked about before on the Floor of this House. I will talk about those two things again today. The person that is responsible for the death of the national school feeding programme has done a great disservice to education and to the future of our children.
