    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I hear some of the Members’ concerns that come with it. However, you have just crowned it by saying that this was a one-off payment. It is important for Members to know that this money did not go to the various ministries. All those artisans, musicians, sculptors, actors and everybody who applied through the Department of Culture received the money. Others went through the Permanent Presidential Music Commission and others through the Kenya Film Commission. Others went through the National Museums of Kenya and others through the Kenya Cultural Centre. So, it does not mean that the money was taken back to the ministry. These recipients received the money through the medium they applied. What is going to clear this is, maybe, we pray that this pandemic comes to an end and hotels and entertainment joints are opened, so that our artists can have a place to do their thing.
