    "content": "Public sector unions play a very important role. These are the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT), University Academic Staff Union (UASU) and others. On the other hand, we must also remember that the monies we have which we keep in the Consolidated Fund are not a bottomless pit; there is a limit. We need to have this Commission functioning properly and constituted as soon as there exists a vacancy, to avoid a situation where we do not have a commission to set ceilings for public wages."
