    "content": "I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.48(1), to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Health on the approval process and importation procedure of Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines in Kenya. In the Statement, the Committee should- (1) State whether the Ministry of Health has developed a standardization policy for the importation of Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines in Kenya and made rules and regulations for such importation. (2) Outline the process through which licenses are issued to Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccine importing entities and companies in the country. (3) State the number of companies with approved licenses to import Coronavirus (COVID-19) vaccines and indicate the period that those licenses are in operation and whether they are annual or quarterly."
