    "content": "I just want to raise some concerns that I have with this Bill. In Clause 10(1), there is a lowering of governance standards in the hiring of the chief executive officer. What is provided in the current Act is stronger because it provides for a competitive process that also involves the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) in establishing salaries. I have no clue why that is being removed. It is the same for the board. It does not state that the setting of allowances shall be done in consultation with the SRC. Again, I do not know why that is being done because it is now very clear in almost every law."
