    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. First, I wish to support the National Hospital Insurance Fund (Amendment) Bill. In a country where majority of the population is out of reach of proper healthcare, it is prudent to have a more vibrant, modern, effective and efficient healthcare delivery system. The NHIF, which is the main delivery of healthcare insurance services to the Kenyan population has been lacking some of these attributes. Many rural folks cannot access healthcare services mainly due to the economic problems in this country. It is a toll order for them even to make the minimum contribution to the NHIF.
