Members, the petitioners therefore pray that the National Assembly, through the Departmental Committee on Education and Research: (1) inquires into allegations of possible external influence to the process of marking the KCPE examinations, which resulted in candidates from public schools being awarded higher scores than their counterparts in private schools, even when progressive assessment demonstrated that candidates from private schools were better prepared for the exams and had posted better results in pre-KCPE assessments; The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
