    "content": "The WHO ranked Kenya at position 114 among 175 countries with the highest suicide rates with Kenya’s suicide rate being 6.5 suicides per 100,000 people. The data that was compiled between April and June 2021 by the Department of Operations at the DCI showed that at least 483 people committed suicide in the past three months with Central Kenya leading with 181 suicide cases with Kiambu topping the list, accounting for 109 of the cases. The youngest person reported to have committed suicide was nine years old while the oldest was 76 years old."
