Speaker, I rise to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Lands and Physical Planning the following Question: (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary provide the ownership status of land currently occupied by squatters in Chokaa, Ruai Ward; Maili Saba and Njiru Estates in Njiru Ward; Gituamba in Kasarani Ward; and, Budalang’i in Mwiki Ward Kasarani Constituency? (ii) Could the Cabinet Secretary consider settling the squatters on the said land and issue them with title deeds considering that they have occupied the land for over 30 years?"
