Speaker, in accordance with the provisions of Standing Order No.42A (5) and (6), I wish to convey that the Cabinet Secretary for the National Treasury and Planning is scheduled to appear before the Departmental Committee on Finance and National Planning on Thursday, 19th August 2021 to respond to two Questions: Question No.214/2021 by Hon. Ronald Tonui regarding the recent changes to the Civil Servants Pension Scheme, who are entitled and how the benefits are calculated; and, Question No.255/2021 by Hon. David Ochieng’ on the number of privatisations that have been conducted since the establishment of the Privatisation Commission and the privatisation processes of National Bank and State owned sugar factories."
