    "content": " I thank you, Hon. Speaker, for this opportunity. Before I do what I need to do, this is a very weighty and important Bill. I have received requests for further consultation from very important stakeholders. The best laws are compromised laws that are accepted by the majority of the nation. Having received very fundamental requests from high stakeholders, I ask that we step this Bill down for the Committee to take advantage of this recess to conduct further consultations. I have also spoken to the Leader of the Majority Party. After recess, we will come with a compromised position on the Bill, because it is for the people of Kenya. I thank you."
