The value of money has declined such that people will have not less than Kshs500,000 in their accounts. What happens is that if somebody has put Kshs600,000 into a bank account and the bank collapses, that money will never be refunded because he will get only Kshs500,000 at the current rates because of the Regulations. However, what if the Regulations are changed by the CEO or the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK), because that is not a confirmation that you will be given that kind of money?"
