Those banks have been built by ordinary Kenyans - the ordinary tea grower, coffee farmer, avocado farmer, milk farmer and banana farmer. They are the ones who have really supported those banks. From those banks, has emerged one of the biggest banks in this country called Equity Bank. It is not only Equity Bank, but there are other smaller banks which are coming up like the Amica Savings and Credit Cooperative, Murata SACCO and many other banks which I will not be able to mention here.
