    "content": "With regard to the point you raised about the presence of the Chairperson of the Committee in the House, it is the responsibility of the staffers who clerk committees, especially the head of a committee, to make sure that when a petition is presented, quite apart from the petition itself, they pick the Hansard record of what was said by Members by way of comments. So, it is not really the Chairperson; it is the staff. That is what they are supposed to do so that when the Committee begins to consider the Petition, it also has before it the comments which were made by Members. These comments are not in vain. That is the point. The staff must know that. The Office of the Clerk is directed to ensure that, that always happens at all times. Hon. Wilson Sossion."
