Also, there are people who had already given out land for laying the pipes but they have not been fully compensated for their land to date. We need some seriousness on this. I support this Bill, so that it strengthens the issue of irrigation and we can have enough food. When we were in primary school, we used to learn of the Mwea Tebere Irrigation Scheme. That was in the early 80s. If we were serious, we would be having huge productions in this country, exporting and improving our economy. With those few remarks, I support."
