Speaker, I beg to move the following Procedural Motion: THAT, pursuant to the provisions of Standing Order No. 256 relating to Exemption of business from Standing Orders, this House resolves to exempt the Reports of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security on the Public Petitions listed hereunder, laid on the Table of the House on Wednesday, 11th August 2021, from the provisions of Standing Order No.227(2) (Committal of Petitions) with respect to debate– (i) Public Petition regarding insecurity in Saku Constituency and the Larger Marsabit County; (ii) Public Petition by Residents of Wajir and Garissa counties regarding lack of access to Citizen Registration Services; and, (iii) Public Petition regarding Recognition of the Pemba People of Kenya as Citizens of the Republic of Kenya."
