Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 19 of the Bill be amended by— (a) renumbering the existing provision as sub-clause (1); (b) inserting the following new sub-clauses immediately after sub-clause (1)— “(2) A person who abuses any privilege or immunity granted under this section shall be subjected to disciplinary action as appropriate. (3) A person shall not waive the privileges and immunities granted under this section without the express approval of the cabinet secretary.” The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
