Speaker, I stand to ask the Cabinet Secretary for Transport, Infrastructure, Housing, Urban Development and Public Works the following Question: (i) Could the Cabinet Secretary provide the status of construction of the 75 kilometres long Omoringamu-Kenyinya-Ibhicho-Mogambi-Nyamasega- Ogombo-Okoba-Misesi-Otonto-Ogimbo Road in Bomachoge Constituency and indicate when the said road is expected to be completed? (ii) Could the Cabinet Secretary provide details of the contractor awarded the said contract and indicate the amount of money that has been paid for the project to date? (iii) Could the Cabinet Secretary explain action taken against foreign companies which are awarded contracts of such huge projects but fail to deliver? Thank you."
