    "content": "Thank you, Madam Deputy Speaker, for allowing me to add my voice to this very important Statement by Sen. Kinyua, as I also thank him for doing this on behalf of his people. It is a big shame as many of us have already said that in the 21st Century as a Government we can sit and say that the bandits have overtaken us and they have stronger or more weapons than what our Government has. Madam Deputy Speaker, I come from Marsabit County and for us this has become the order of the day. Two months ago, 78 houses were burnt down and people are homeless in Marsabit. We have so many orphans and widows and animals have been taken away. While all this was happening, the Government was still there. However, nothing was done about it."
