Despite the fact that Committees continued to operate during the recess period and you also continued to carry out your roles as representatives of the people, it is my hope that you have also found some time to rest and refresh as this last part of the Session is likely to be quite busy. Hon Members, during the recess period, the National Assembly continued engaging in parliamentary diplomacy and its usual inter-parliamentary affairs at regional and international levels. In this regard, I am glad to notify the House that Hon. Dennitah Ghati, MP, was elected the Chairperson of the Commonwealth Parliamentarians with Disabilities (CPwD) Network."
