    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker for giving me this chance. I rise to support the two Petitions. What has happened in terms of the increase in prices of fuel is a very serious matter that will require both immediate and temporary solutions as we work on a permanent solution. The increase in the prices of fuel and petroleum products is actually comparable to the spiralling increase in prices in France in 1779 during the French Revolution. This is an extremely serious matter because it affects the common mwananchi - the local person. It can lead to a revolution. Even those in Government should not be happy as we speak about this. People are getting agitated every hour and every minute because it has a multiplier effect on the prices of food in the country. Therefore, we need to move with speed like you have directed.
