    "content": "Petroleum prices is a serious national crisis and of concern to us as Members of Parliament. Indeed, it should be known by the National Treasury that they should not just go for easy targets when they want to raise revenue. I listened to the Leader of the Majority Party and he tried to justify the taxation to be maintained. I believe that there is a time we need to be very sensitive not just to what we have planned or what we want to achieve as a Government in development, but we have to put into consideration the lives of the millions of Kenyans who are taxpayers and many of them who live on less than a dollar in a day.
