"content": "They just wake up one morning and raise fuel prices. The common people are now unable to feed their families because of this rise and everything is automatically going up. The CS, Ministry of Finance should give notice at least five or six months earlier before increasing fuel prices instead of waking up one morning and telling Kenyans that fuel has risen by Kshs7 or Kshs10. This is very unfair because families cannot buy food or pay school fees. How would one think of increasing fuel prices at this particular time, when we have the pandemic with us and our economy is in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU)? Then, you tell people that they should contribute so as to build the economy. This is not possible."
