    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for this opportunity to contribute to the debate on Sessional Paper No.4 on co-operatives. I support this Sessional Paper because it is clearly based on the best practices and there is evidence that the co-operative movement’s growth and organisation is in line as we can see from the Report of the Committee. This is a key factor in not only addressing and enhancing socio-economic development, but also in helping us make progress from the kind spirit and direction we had in Sessional Paper No.10 of 1965 on African Societies and its application to planning in Kenya."
