I am rising on a point of order that the conduct of the Senator for Nandi is now disrupting the whole debate and this is a serious debate. What I was taught is that you can make noise or make comments or keep on talking when it is another Member talking. However, when the Speaker is speaking the House must always listen in silence. I pray to you, otherwise, we can never have debate in this House. Madam Deputy Speaker, it is not only Sen. Cherargei who can keep on shouting “point of order! Point of order!”. We can also do it. However, the effect of it is that it is disrupting debate. We are trying to follow a very eloquent speech from Sen. Kajwang. Please give us time and space to listen to him."
