    "content": " Thank you very much, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. Let me add my voice to this Bill. From the outset, I am a little bit taken aback because Hon. Osotsi was asking doctors to come and interpret this Bill for us. The Chief Whip of the Majority Party told him that the Bill is in simple English and everybody can understand it. When I look at the Bill, it does one simple thing which is to establish an authority that will deal with food, drugs and chemical substances. When I look at the legal framework - which is what Hon. Osotsi should have asked about - the Bill has nothing to do with public health and the Acts made thereunder. It has nothing to do with the Poisons Act that deals with medicine and other things.
