    "content": "This is one of the attempts of some people who believe that Parliament can pass anything. There are people who think that Parliament does not scrutinise things. They think they can present any regulation or law and it will be passed in Parliament. I have heard the Leader of the Majority Party say that we are flogging a dead horse. I agree with him. This horse died a long time ago, but we are flogging it here because the IEBC has a tendency of shifting blame. You will hear very soon in the streets that Parliament is opposed to campaign financing. People will be saying that politicians do not want to be regulated; they want to steal public money and spend it on elections. People will start saying that Members of Parliament are thieves who steal public money. If the IEBC had brought these Regulations in good time, there would have been no quarrel."
