    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Temporary Speaker, Sir, for giving me a chance to speak. I wish from the onset to say that I really support this Bill and congratulate Sen. (Dr.) Kang’ata who has aptly moved this Bill and Sen. Cherargei who has really gone to expound it in details, giving us very critical information which is very important. This is a matter that has been there for quite some time and there is a policy paper that was put in place in 2014; there might be an updated version. This is the Kenya Diaspora Policy and this policy was meant to ensure that various issues that Kenyans who are living in the diaspora face, are addressed and this should have built into legislation."
