Members, the Petitioner, who has unsuccessfully attempted to obtain redress from the Ministry of Interior and Coordination of National Government, seeks the intervention of this House in order to secure compensation for the loss of property and distress occasioned to his family. Hon. Members, having determined that the matters raised by the Petitioner are well within the authority of this House, I order that the Petition be committed to the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security. The Committee is required to consider the Petition and report its findings to the House and the petitioner in accordance with Standing Order 227(2). I thank you.
