According to Standing Order 56(1)- “A Notice of Motion may be withdrawn by the Senator who gave the notice.” That was his choice. We wanted to confirm what he had done. He withdrew the Motion because the concern of Sen. M. Kajwang’ was correct. If you look at the Statement and the Notice of Motion, they are close. The results of the two are different because of the resolution passed by the House when the Motion is adopted. As a Member, you choose. Have you chosen the Statement route?"
