Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 10 of the Bill be amended— (a) in paragraph (a) by deleting the proposed new subsection (1A) and substituting therefor the following new subsection— (1A) Subject to this Act — (a) the national government shall be liable as a contributor to the Fund in respect of all public officers, state officers and employees working in the national government and national government entities; (b) each county government shall be liable as a contributor to the Fund in respect of all public officers, state officers and employees working in the county government and county entities; and (c) any other employer shall be liable as a contributor to the Fund in respect of its employees subject to Clause (ca) (b) by deleting paragraph (b) and substituting therefor the following new paragraph— (b) in subsection (2) — (i) by inserting the words “Except as provided in paragraph (f)(ii) and (iii)” immediately before the words “in the case of a person” appearing in paragraph (b); (ii) by inserting the following new paragraphs immediately after paragraph (b) — (c) in the case of an employer who is the national government or national government entity, a matching contribution, equal to that which their employee is liable to contribute under subsection (1)(c); (d) in the case of an employer who is the county governments or county government entity, a matching contribution, equal to that which their employee is liable to contribute under subsection (1)(c); (e) in the case of other employers, a matching contribution, equal to that which their employee is liable to contribute under subsection (1)(c):"
