Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 23 of the Bill be amended – (a) by deleting paragraph (c) and inserting the following new paragraph− “(c) in subsection (3) by deleting the words “ten thousand shillings” and substituting therefor the words “one million shillings or to imprisonment for a term not exceeding twenty-four months” appearing in the closing statement.” The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposesonly.
